Cornelius PD D.A.R.E.s Students! A new Website for Kids!
A new addition to the Cornelius Police Department's website is up and running and
looking for hits from area students. An exciting, animated and comprehensive site,
students will find topics of interest in the form of illustrated student-focused
articles as well as fun and colorful interactive games and activities.
A question/answer page highlights common questions from youngsters, with responses
from a parent, officer, and fellow student. Students are encouraged to use creative
skills through paintbrush activities, such as, designing special license plates or
coloring in cartoon templates. A "Be Aware" section provides safety tips on
babysitting, internet surfing, and physical safety.
